Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Yieldra (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use yieldra.ai (the “Service”). We take your privacy seriously and keep things simple.

1. What We Collect

Account information: Your email address and a hashed version of your password when you create an account.
Trade data: Options trades you manually log in the Ledger tab, stored under your account.
Usage analytics: Anonymized event data (e.g. which tabs you visit, when you scan) via PostHog, to help us understand how the tool is used and improve it.
Log data: Standard server logs including IP address and browser type, retained for security purposes.

2. What We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your brokerage credentials or account numbers.
We do not collect payment information directly — billing (when introduced) will be handled by a third-party processor.
We do not read your email inbox or any external data sources.

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the Yieldra service.
To send you account-related emails (approval confirmation, onboarding tips, product updates).
To analyze aggregate usage patterns so we can build better features.
To maintain security and prevent abuse.

4. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or trade data to any third party. Ever.

5. Data Storage

Your account and trade data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted in the United States. Market data is sourced from Tradier and is not stored permanently on our servers.

6. Analytics

We use PostHog for product analytics. PostHog collects anonymized event data to help us understand feature usage. No personally identifiable trading data is sent to PostHog. You can learn more at posthog.com/privacy.

7. Data Retention

Your account and trade data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Account panel inside Yieldra, which permanently removes your account and all associated trade data.

8. Your Rights

Access: You can view all your trade data in the Ledger tab at any time.
Export: You can export your trade history as a CSV from the Ledger tab.
Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data from the Account panel inside the app.

9. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

10. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email before the changes take effect.
